Registration Training
The Permanent Secretary Sani-Gwarzo claims that the Government Enterprise Empowerment Programme (GEEP), Community Orientation and Mobilization Officers (COMOs), and GEEP Desk Officers in the States have completed a statewide Advanced Step-Down Training.
This training aims to improve beneficiary registration procedures moving forward; the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development brought the training to the States, where the Master Trainers had an impact on 774 COMOs/GEEPDOs spread across the Local Government Areas by using the digital applications on the tablets that were provided.
The three-day interactive training program offered a comprehensive framework for improving beneficiary registration procedures and implementing GEEP 2.0’s digital transformation.
These improvements will include tools and methods used nationally in Trader Moni, Market Moni, and Farmer Moni.
The main goal of the training was to help Local Government GEEP Desk Officers (GEEPDOs) prioritize using the National Identification Number (NIN) as a requirement for GEEP 2.0 registration.
The training was also intended to help advance the knowledge of State and Local Government value players.
They are the Master Trainers and GEEP Program Managers on the GEEP 2.0 digitization process and Registration.
