About Nnamdi Azikiwe University
This institution can also be called UNIZIK, and it is a federal institution in Nigeria. This tertiary school has four major campuses, one in Awka, and three others in Agulu, Nnewi, and Ifite-Ogwali.
UNIZIK was accredited by the National Universities Commission and was named after the late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe. Initially, it was called the Anambra State University of Technology (ASUTECH). It was founded on July 30, 1980, by the old Anambra old government.
