KFD Consulting – Our client, a foremost and top automobile company in Nigeria, urgently requires exceptional individuals to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Head, Internal Control

Location: Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Purpose

• Coordinate and supervise internal control activities across our branches.

Job Description

• Monitor branches compliance to organizational policies and procedures
• Compile audit reports of activities of all locations.
• Proactively engender a strong control measure of the branches activities in line with the organizational policies and procedures
• Conduct special audit and investigations as required.
• Develop and update of company policies and procedures.
• Monitor stock taking of vehicles, fuel, spare parts and engine oil
• Monitor & reconcile Motor Vehicle sales reports (DSSR) at all branches.
• Confirm price authenticity of locally supplied items
• Verify spare parts received from all vendors
• Verification and of confirmation of spare parts purchases on the ERP
• General ledger review of transactions on the ERP
• Review Internal Control system at all level
• Conduct a continuous review of all reconciliations, payments and maintain proper documentation for compliance review.
• Execute other Internal Control and Compliance related activities as assigned.

The Person

• B.Sc / HND inAccounting or other related field.
• M.Sc / MBA required
• Minimum of Ten (10) years of related work experience with at least 7 years of post-chartered experience.
• Minimum of Five (5) years at Managerial level
• Experience in automobile industry will be an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of internal control processes and procedures
• Sound knowledge of various Audit & Compliance software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic will be added advantage
• Have a good strength in control.
• Good leadership and people management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
