1. Bank Verification Number (BVN)

BVN( an acronym for Bank Verification Number) is an 11-digit number used to identify each bank’s customer across the Nigerian Banking Industry: it’s a customer-unique number for verifying each customer.

The BVN is a significant prerequisite for Npower Recruitment. Individuals without BVN are not eligible to apply for the Npower program.

The Federal government of Nigeria has stated that it incorporated the Bank Verification Number into the Npower application process to avoid ghost applicants, second-time applications and other forms of fraud that may be likely to occur.

If you intend to apply for Npower Recruitment 2022, you must walk into your bank and get your BVN slip. Be sure to confirm the order of your name and the date of birth reflected on your slip.

Note: The name and date of birth on your BVN must tally with those on your credentials and Identity Card.

2. Passport Photograph

You must also submit a recent passport photograph (1MB), either JPEG or PNG files.

3. Active Email and Phone Number

4. A Degree Certificate

This social investment scheme was set up by the President, General Muhammadu Buhari, on the 8th of June, 2016, to address the precarious unemployment situation in the country.

This scheme employed thousands of unemployed youths in Nigeria, effectively taking them off the streets.

Conditional Cash Transfer

This program was created to identify the most vulnerable households in Nigeria to transfer an unspecified amount of cash to them directly.

National Home-Grown School Feeding Program

This is probably the most humane social investment programme initiated by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. It provides nutritiously balanced meals to over 5.5 million school children from grades 1-3. 

Government Enterprise and Empowerment Program (GEEP)

This government-sponsored enterprise and empowerment program was created to support different businesses financially and offer training to entrepreneurs who are the most disadvantaged in society.
