What To Expect

Are you a person who is well versed in the various facets of accounts payable? Do you want to put this experience to good use by playing a key role in a team?

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Technician. Reporting to the Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting and verification of accounts payable in a bilingual environment.

You will also be called upon to play a role in the implementation and improvement of the processes and work tools of your department.

Here’s an overview of your tasks:

• Manage accounts payable (creation, update etc.)
• Coding and registering invoices in the system and making payments
• Verify and reconcile statements of account, address discrepancies to various parties and ensure follow-up
• Communications with suppliers
• Produce different types of reports
• Contribute to the evolution and optimization of the processes of the position
• Perform all other related tasks

What We’re Looking For

• DEC in accounting, administration or equivalent training
• Excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite
• Bilingualism in English and French
• Analytical mind and ability to synthesize
• Organizational skills, autonomy, resourcefulness
• Excellent ability to work in a team
• Comfortable with change management, ability to adapt
