POSITION PROFILE

Working closely with RICOH’s management teams provides sales operations and compensation analysis for projects, strategic planning, and implementation of operational and performance improvements.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gathers and presents sales productivity and compensation information to internal management and Operational/Functional leadership
  • Provides compensation effectiveness analysis to internal management
  • Participates in projects related to understanding – improving the sales performance of the company. The focus/objective of these projects is the identification and pursuit of opportunities to improve Region/Marketplace performance and ultimately to increase shareholder value
  • Via the above responsibilities, identifies opportunities to improve commission administration processes and data quality. Leads effort to attain improvement or serves in a consulting capacity for other functions responsible for the improvement
  • Safeguards information of a highly confidential and proprietary nature and deals courteously and effectively with a diverse group of contacts, both inside and outside of the department
  • Provides accurate, courteous, and professional service to all internal and external customers

  • Acts as liaison with commission administration staff in the prescribed areas of responsibilities
  • Provides ad hoc reporting and analysis for internal and region management
  • Provides data analysis and reporting to meet the needs of internal management. Data sources will be varied. Analysis and reporting tools will include OMD, Oracle, and PC-based
  • Identifies and develops benchmarks for performance comparisons. Analyzes sales performance and selling expense and makes recommendations for process, operational, or financial improvements
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • 4-year college degree is required; major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Math is preferred
  • 3-5 years of work experience, operations, and/or finance experience is desired
  • Requires analytical and operational background and experience
