Advance in your nursing career and join the Genesis team as a Certified Medicine Aide — CMA where you will administer medications and treatments within the standards of practice as per certification permissions and state regulations. Position Highlights *Prepare and administer routine and PRN medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and document per Genesis policies. *Maintain medication supply, clean and restock medicine carts and medicine room. *Notify pharmacy of new medication orders and refills. *Perform accurate vital sign monitoring when indicated by drug therapy. *Stay abreast of current medications and investigate any unknown medications before administration.
SHAREACM
Qualifications:
Completion of a state-approved medicine course with a passing grade is required. Completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program is required. Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with one year of experience in nursing. Must attend a minimum of 16 hours continuing education programs provided by the center in order to maintain certification.
