SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Integration Support Engineer is primarily responsible for troubleshooting and supporting client integrations with third-party platforms while also maintaining a focus on data support and data management tickets.

LOCATION

100% Remote – Anywhere within the US.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Possess a strong technical understanding of Finalsite’s product backend
  • Comprehend, in-depth, web servers, email routing, browsers, and other components our product touches.
  • Participation in regularly scheduled integration team meetings, leading as needs dictate.
  • Assess and improve our data maintenance and management processes according to best practices and business requirements.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of partner data schema.
  • Stay up to date on new product features and improvements across Finalsite and participating partner products
  • Provide support, training, best practice, and implementation assistance across our Content Management System and suite of products.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and create detailed software bug reports and product enhancement requests.
  • Strengthen the Finalsite brand by exhibiting excellence in product knowledge and customer service.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participation in the Tier 2* on-call rotation
  • Assist with Product Support requests in times of extraordinarily high volume
  • Assist with Integration Deployments in times of extraordinarily high volume

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate experience.
  • Experience in scripting or web development (SQL, Coldfusion, XSL a plus)
  • Experience writing against and interacting with web APIs
  • Experience working with education-based SIS/MIS providers preferred (Powerschool, Blackbaud, etc.)
  • Prior customer service or technical support experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Tier 2 encompasses escalated requests from other team members and/or requests that require specialized technical knowledge for resolution.
