General Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and direction in cycle counting activities
- Evaluate all inventory status and implement actions required financially
- Manage and develop procedures for MIA, vendor, and non-confirming accounts
- Monitor all inventory issues and ensure effective resolution for all.
- Monitor quality of work in receiving/kitting areas and maintain all product locations effectively.
- Prepare and reconcile all daily cycle count processes and prepare reports within the timeframe.
- Perform random audits on various cycle counts and inventory location
- Maintain and update JDE inventory on a regular basis and ensure accuracy of the same at all times
- Coordinate with the materials teams and provide inventory support at all times
- Ensure the accuracy of incoming materials is maintained and stored properly
- Manage the implementation of new tools and resources to improve the overall efficiency of the cycle counting processes.
- Address any problems or complaints that may arise quickly and amicably
Experience/qualifications:
- Demonstrate leadership qualities in producing significant change and improvements in a warehouse setting.
- Experience in materials/warehouse industry
- A very deep knowledge of the materials/inventory controls within a distribution facility.
- Have strong organizational, communication, partnership, and social skills.
- Project management proficiency with a keen understanding of change management
- Practice strong relationship skills with the ability to work across a broad range of job levels
- Excellent analytical skills, including strong facility with quantitative analysis techniques
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation to advance materials processes and initiatives
- Critical thinking skills, including validated ability to simultaneously be tactical while forward-looking
- Have knowledge of continuous improvement or other lean operating philosophies.
Education / certifications:
- Associates degree or higher in a business-related field
- 2+ years of experience working in logistics, warehouse, and/or manufacturing setting
