Washrack Technician/Labourer

We are looking for a Washrack Technician for our shop in Calgary, AB. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who has shop experience and a passion for safety.

Pay:

• $24.35/hour

Hours:

• Shifts Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Exterior washing and assist with internal cleaning.
• Hose testing/cleaning.
• Pump flush.
• Drive equipment.
• Tank entry and confined space training.
• Operation of hand tools.
• Wash work orders.
• Tank steam for clean.
• Steam product for repair.
• Assist in wash order scheduling.
• Boiler operation and maintenance of pumps, blowers, etc.
• Identify wash orders to be completed and know your limitations
• Comfortable working either indoors or outdoor (Appropriate gear is provided).

Skills:

• Positive and strong work ethic.
• Must be ok working from heights over 20 ft.
• Positive attitude and job performance.
• Shop experience, including working around steam equipment.
• Must be capable of working in wet and humid conditions and exposure to normal wash rack cleaning materials.
• Basic understanding of shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, and use of hand and power tools.

Educational Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License.
• Grade 12 or equivalent.
