The Team:

The Prototype department supports the Toy Design team by creating models from preliminary plans and/or a sketch and/or a shared existing model that will be used to establish the feasibility of the project. The department will also collaborate with others like the Engineering, Marketing, and Packaging teams.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Team Leader of the Prototype department, the Model Maker will be called upon to create models according to needs and requests. Prototypes are made from various materials, such as 3D printed parts, production blocks, foam, styrene, resin, etc. The Model Maker must master the different techniques he will have to use in his work: painting (spray gun and by hand), building (blocks), sanding, sculpture, thermoforming, molding, and others. He/she will also have the opportunity to work with different types of machinery. Other graphics or electronics skills can also be useful in this position.
