The Monogram Maintenance Mechanic will work for Monogram Refrigeration’s maintenance department. Monogram will hire 1 second-shift Maintenance Mechanic.

How You’ll Create Possibilities

Essential Functions (Responsibilities): These duties are not all-inclusive and may change over time.

• Maintain/repair plant/office building/grounds/equipment.
• Use hand tools/power tools and company shop equipment to make needed machinery repairs.
• Mix and apply paint to walls and floors.
• Perform building maintenance as required.
• Read and interpret machinery repair instructions.
• Communicate with technical reps to order parts or gain information to make machinery repairs.
• Determine need and order maintenance parts/supplies.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Make hydraulic/pneumatic pump and power tool repairs.
• Make electrical motor/switch/disconnect circuit connections and perform basic building circuit wiring.
• Weld or braze to fabricate or repair plant equipment.
• Drive tow motor and work in teams.
• Physical demands of the position include: Frequent handling and lifting of parts and equipment; constant reaching at waist level; frequent standing, walking, reaching at shoulder level, reaching at knee level, pushing/pulling, grasping, pinching, fine motor dexterity, and wrist flexion/extension; occasional sitting, reaching overhead, reaching at floor level, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs/ladders, pivoting, twisting, shoulder circumduction, and neck flexion/extension/rotation. Handling, lifting, and carrying parts/equipment – minimum of 70 lbs. lifting/carrying and 75 lbf pushing/pulling.
• Ability to work with parts/equipment which may be hot and/or wet.
• Ability to work in a loud/noisy environment
• Perform associated and other duties as required.

What You’ll Bring to Our Team

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR an industrial maintenance diploma/degree
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Requires standing, stooping, walking on concrete 90% to 100% of the time, occasional lifting, reaching, turning, and carrying up to 70 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration assembly and functionality – how the unit works.
• Physical demands of the position include: Frequent handling and lifting of parts and equipment; constant reaching at waist level; frequent standing, walking, reaching at shoulder level, reaching at knee level, pushing/pulling, grasping, pinching, fine motor dexterity, and wrist flexion/extension; occasional sitting, reaching overhead, reaching at floor level, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs/ladders, pivoting, twisting, shoulder circumduction, and neck flexion/extension/rotation. Handling, lifting, and carrying parts/equipment – minimum of 70 lbs. lifting/carrying and 75 lbf pushing/pulling.
• Ability to work with parts/equipment which may be hot and/or wet.
