Job Title: Accountant / Administrative Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Overview
- As an Accountant / Administrative Officer, you are responsible for reviewing financial reports and also be responsible for all finance and accounting activities to ensure full policy implementation and documentation of finance records, policies and procedures.
- Duties and Key Responsibilities
- Balance bank account.
- Audit financial statements and assess accounts for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- File and document internal financial records of the supermarket
- Liaise with vendors and call suppliers for supplies when needed.
- Ensure all payments are reconciled daily. (Stock and payment should tally).
- Carry out stock weekly reconciliation
- Monitor products and process payment
- Supervise the activities of the stockkeeper to ensure inventory in the store is accurately accounted for.
- Settle utility bills
- Take part in cash disbursement and reconciliation with the cashiers.
- Drive full compliance with all tax regulations.
- Prepare monthly payroll and implement statutory deductions.
- Prepare monthly profit and lost
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies.
- Keep updated records of the company’s assets.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- B.Sc / HND in Finance, Accounting or arelated field
- ICAN, CFA, ACCA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the role at a supermarket
- Advanced Excel, Spreadsheet skills and ability to perform macros tasks on Excel
- Solid proficiency in financial planning or accounting software
- Very strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
- Good knowledge of formula and manipulation of data
- High level of accuracy, efficiency and accountability
- Ability to draft written financial reports of daily/weekly/monthly
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to be proactive and take initiative
- Strong attention to detail.
Remuneration
N100,000 – N120,000 Monthly.
