Position Summary:

MAG is searching for a highly qualified Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance Training Center (ISRTC) Instructor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Develop an Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) ASO mentoring/training program to qualify selected MAG personnel on ASO operations currently being conducted in a specified combat theatre of operations
  • Develop and modify POIs and lesson plans for associated training requirements
  • Provide instruction to a level that enables ASOs to perform unassisted flight operations IAW set guidelines and METLs
  • Instruct personnel on the theory and operations of associated tactical radios, sensors, and mission software associated with specified ISR platforms
  • Comprehend and mentor ASO students on tactical procedures and multi-asset integration
  • Maintain ORM and other associated safety-related programs
  • Document and track training, schedules, and evaluations
  • Make recommendations for certification and basic instructor upgrades as required


Minimum Requirements

  • Must possess and/or be eligible to possess a Top-Secret clearance
  • Minimum of 5 years of applicable professional experience
  • Ability to incorporate the principles of adult learning into training curricula utilizing instructor-led, virtual, and eLearning platforms
  • Ability to convey complex information and customer service scenarios into meaningful, effective training course material
  • Experience implementing A-ISR training programs
  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Office products
  • Must be able to maintain a US passport
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a FAA Class III flight physical and qualify on small arms weapons annually
  • Must be willing and able to complete Altitude Chamber training every 5 years
  • Must possess strong briefing skills and be able to instruct students on multiple integrated technological systems and advanced ISR TTPs
  • Candidate must be willing/capable of traveling up to over 50% of the time
  • Candidate must successfully pass pre-deployment medical screening and remain medically cleared at all times while employed

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience supporting and conducting SOF and conventional ISR operations
  • Intimate knowledge of JPUB 3.09.3 and J-FIRE
  • Joint/SOF background and/or Joint/SOF operational experience
  • Experience with MX-15 WESCAM sensor, PRC-117G, VORTEX, and ORION mission software
  • Combat or instructional experience in Afghanistan or other theaters of operation
  • Previous USAF, USA or USN formal course instructor (BIC, ABIC, etc)
  • Experience with conducting intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) at a high level and conducting duties such as WARDEN, multi-stack integration, fire support procedures, and MEDEVAC 9-line procedures

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
