Kaizen Specialist

Where we need you

  • The Kaizen Specialist coordinates/executes the Kaizen activities within the Plant together with the concerned site managers and the assigned employees.
  • He/she focuses on cost, safety, delivery, quality, and morale dimensions with a continuous improvement approach supported by Lean and Manufacturing Excellence methods.
  • His/her deliverables include coordinating and supporting the successful implementation of continuous improvement activities aimed at improving plant reliability, productivity, and efficiency.
  • In comparison to the Senior Manager OpEx Region(AM/AS) /Manager Kaizen Plant Network (Europe), the Kaizen Specialist deploys locally the Opex/Kaizen continuous improvement projects.
  • He/she contributes as well to the continuous improvement of the Opex approach by providing feedback and lessons learned to the regional/Plant Network Opex leader.
  • The Specialist Kaizen Plant acts as a Trainer for Opex methods.
  • Implements layouts and process flows in operations work cells
  • Conducts time studies to determine optimal cycle time on machines / offline product
  • Drive lean practices throughout the plant to include Six Sigma projects, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5s, and improvement workshops
  • Work cell audits to determine master data accuracy for BOM, routing, and material master data (part numbers, packaging, units, etc…)
  • Supports team in the region with improvement ideas submitted by employees
  • Other assigned projects/ task as needed

  • Experience in international context
  • Lean Management
  • Kaizen Experience
  • Change Management Experience
  • SAP Master Data module – BOM’s, routings, material master

Education

  • Bachelors Degree
