About This Opportunity

JOB TITLE: Production Associate
POSITION TYPE: Full time
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

STARTING PAY RATE: $21.23/hour plus $0.25 for working the hours of 3pm-11pm OR $0.30
For working the hours of 11pm-7am
Employees earn $23.59 after completing probation period

2nd shift schedule 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Must be available to work weekends, some holidays, and overtime as needed.

ARE YOU A TEAM PLAYER?

Foremost’s Sparta facility produces dairy products and ingredients for use in food, animal feed and infant formula. This location serves as a balancing plant. We condense milk for our cheese operations and dry ingredients from whey, depending on customer and market demands. Sparta’s Production Associates are key players in our seven-day-a-week operation, providing support in processing and packaging these important products.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• No prior experience needed; on-the-job training is provided
• Must be aged 18 years or older
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations
• Able to stand for the duration of shift
• Willing to use a forklift (training is provided)
• Must be able to read and understand standard operating procedures and labels written in English
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) required
• Must be able to tell time on an analog or digital clock

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Any manufacturing experience you have will help you learn on the job
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP’s, OSHA, and loss control programs is a plus
