Job Duties

1. Coordinate logistics and administration for the academic leadership team’s shared calendars and schedules.
2. Assist in the planning and preparation for meetings, presentations, and other activities required of the out-of-scope leadership team for Human Services, Community Safety, and Hospitality – and manage the information flow and tasks resulting from the activities
3. Collaborate with the Executive Assistant to the Dean in coordinating administrative activities with the Dean’s office.
4. Lead, administer, and monitor projects, programs, and services as requested by the Associate Dean.
5. Preparation of enrollment, financial, and graduate reports by accessing diverse sources, including FAST, BANNER, registration services, finance, and institutional research and analysis
6. Provide financial analysis and assist in the development of narrative reports for the academic chair, associate dean, dean, and relevant government departments.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities (QSA)

1. A certificate in office administration; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
2. Minimum of 3 years administrative experience
3. Basic database experience
4. Training and/or experience at the intermediate level in the use of common software packages, i.e. MS Office Suite.
5. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including both oral and written.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze information to determine trends, and make complex decisions independently.
7. Strong organizational skills to prioritize many diverse tasks within tight timelines.
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
9. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
