Role Proposition:

Do you love skiing or snowboarding? We are looking to hire Servers for the upcoming winter season. Are you a people person who can talk with just about anyone? As a Masa’s server, you should know the menu and specials while providing quick and friendly service. Masa’s is a high volume and fast turnover restaurant; therefore, you will need to perform well under pressure. We offer flexible shifts and a welcoming team. Accountabilities:

• Greet guests in a friendly manner and present them with a menu
• Check patron’s identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
• Inform guests about the daily specials and any changes in the menu
• Be knowledgeable of the menu, ingredients of the food items, and how they are prepared
• Take and relay orders into the POS in an efficient manner
• Serve food and beverages to guests as per the course of an order
• Maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling guests’ needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling water bottles
• Check with guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems
• Accurately and reliably perform closing duties and reconcile cash with total sales
• Be a continuous ambassador for Sun Peaks Resort and all activities and events throughout the winter season

Ideal Candidate:

• Professional, fun, and friendly personality, with the ability to build enthusiasm with guests under pressure and in routine situations
• Neat, tidy, and well organized with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations
• Experience and a good understanding of a POS system
• Capability to multitask and prioritize jobs
• Well-presented and a team player
