THE ROLE
Glacier Greens Golf Course is a beautifully manicured 18-hole Championship course and is open year-round and the public is always welcome. Glacier Greens offers excellent facilities, including a covered range and synthetic (Syn-lawn) tee range, a full-service Pro Shop, a fully licensed restaurant with meeting and banquet facilities, and a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the 18th green. As part of CFMWS, our mandate is to provide affordable golf to our local military personnel and their families.
Working in a team, the incumbent will maintain the golf course property using powered and manual equipment. They also perform horticultural duties such as planting trees, shrubs and flowers, and maintaining and creating flowerbeds while ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety Programs in conjunction with management.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications, and Licenses
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
AND
Valid Driver’s Licence (BC), an asset
Experience
In landscaping or golf course maintenance
In operating specialized turf care equipment
Competencies, Skills, and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

English Essential
