Companion: Full-Time Days 36HRS/WK & Part-Nights 24HRS/WK, 12HR shifts. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. $15-$16/HR, base wage is dependent on experience.

Differentials include weekend differential $1/HR 6p Friday-6a Monday, night shift differential $2.50/HR 6p-10p & $4/HR 10p-6a.

The purpose of the companion is to provide non-medical assistance to residents in an assisted living community while assuring resident safety and attaining or maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychological well-being of each resident in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Hillcrest Care Center & The Towers standards.

Requires a team player attitude. Expected to contribute to team efforts and professionally interact with residents, visitors, and staff. Position may require the ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, walk, stand, sit, move, push, pull, and other common physical movements for extended periods of time. Maybe subject to encounter or exposure of chemicals, odors, air contaminants, infectious waste & diseases.

Qualifications require the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have good verifiable work &/or personal references. Pre-employment background & Colorado Adult Protective Services check is required. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Must be CPR/BLS and First Aide certified.
