Job Description

• We are looking for an Internal Auditor to add value and improve our operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, governance processes, providing independent and objective evaluations of company financial and operational business activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved.
• Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability.
• Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement.
• Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations.
• Determine internal audit scope and develop audit report.
• Obtain,analyzeand evaluate accounting documentation, audit reports, data, etc.
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results.
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
• Document process and prepare audit reports.
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions
• Assisting management in the improvement of internal controls

Requirements

• Must be an Accounting Graduate.
• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 – 3 years of work experience.
• An ICAN qualification is a plus
• Positive attitude to work.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

Remuneration
N63,000 – N100,000 monthly.
