Job Description

• We are looking to hire a lawyer who will assist the legal teams by preparing legal documents and cases. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare pleadings, notices and make appearances in court.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases. 
• Gather evidence to formulate defense or to initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
• Present evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in criminal or civil litigation.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts. 
• Prepare legal briefs and opinions, and file appeals in state and federal courts of appeal. 
• Search for and examine public and other legal records to write opinions or establish ownership.

Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

• Equivalent Law qualifications.
• 5  years minimum legal professional experience.
• Legal research experience..
• Experience in drafting legal and business documents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic I.T / Digital skills.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• You must be residing around Lekki / Ajah Environs.
