Full Job Description
Under the direction of the Culinary Arts Manager, a Village Cook will work together with other kitchen staff to prepare culturally appropriate food for the campers. If you love cooking or want to learn a new skill while making friends from all over the world, join us this summer.
You Will:
- Assume full kitchen responsibilities in the absence of the Village Chef and Assistant Village Chef
- Carry out necessary tasks as requested by the Village chef
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals
- Assist with dining hall and kitchen cleanup and disposal of garbage
- Provide direction to and mentor the Kitchen Helpers

Minimum Qualifications
You Have:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Interest in preparing ethnic foods

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with quantity cooking at a camp, resort, or public or private institution
- Oral proficiency in the target language
- Previous Concordia Language Villages or camping experience
